The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) was established in 1910, functions under the purview of the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. The Board is entrusted with the task of evaluating students’ progress by conducting two board examinations – class 10 (SSC) and class 12 (HSSC).
