Facebook now finally no. 1 website of united states, it was Google before but now became first beating Google. There is not so much difference in traffic but Facebook’s popularity and usages are increasing everyday so it will hard for Google get back this position.
Web analyst Hitwise revealed that Google receive 7.03 percent of all US traffic as compared to Facebook which is at top by receiving 7.07 percent.
“It’s definitely a big moment for Facebook, even though they beat by a small margin,” News.com.au quoted Hitwise’s Matt Tatham as telling CNN.
He added, “People want information from friends they trust, versus the anonymity of a search engine.” The research did not include other Google services such as Gmail and YouTube.
It is not a surprising news as everyone know that Facebook is becoming huge day by day. Let see what’s Google do on this.
